Raize (raizeapp.com) is an AI career agent: you upload your resume once, Raize matches you to real job postings, builds a resume tailored to each one, and — with the Raize browser extension — fills in and submits applications on job sites while you watch. This page says exactly what that involves for your data. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
- • We store your resume, your application details and the jobs you apply to, so Raize can do its job.
- • Your resume and the job descriptions are sent to an AI provider (Groq) to write the tailored resume.
- • The extension never sees or stores your LinkedIn, Naukri or Indeed password. You sign in to those sites yourself, in your own browser.
- • We do not sell your data, and we do not send it to advertisers.
- • Ask us to delete your account and we delete it — resume files included.
What we collect
Only what the product needs:
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and Raize does not read your email, your files, or pages unrelated to a job application.
What the browser extension does
The extension runs only on LinkedIn, Naukri and Indeed, and only while you have started a run from its popup. On those sites it reads the job posting on the page you are on, sends that text to Raize so a resume can be built for it, then fills in the application form and attaches that resume — visibly, in your browser, at a pace you can follow. You can stop it at any moment.
It signs in to Raize with your Raize account. It does not handle your LinkedIn, Naukri or Indeed credentials: you are already signed in to those sites yourself, and the extension simply works in that window, as you would. It does not read pages on any other website.
Where a form asks something Raize cannot answer from your own data, it asks you in its panel rather than inventing an answer. Where a site asks you to confirm you are human, Raize stops and waits for you.
Where AI comes in
To match jobs and write a tailored resume, Raize sends the text of your resume and the text of the job posting to Groq, an AI inference provider, over an encrypted connection. This is what produces the tailored resume. Groq processes the request and returns the result; per Groq's API terms at the time of writing, this data is not used to train models.
Every tailored resume records exactly what it added, and that list is always available to you: open the resume under Resumes in your dashboard to see each addition, the match score before and after, and which of them the employer asked for. Raize does not invent employers, dates, degrees or certifications — additions are skills and wording drawn from the job posting, and we ask you to keep only what you can back up in an interview.
When you use auto-apply, Raize builds and attaches the tailored resume without stopping for your approval on each job — that is what you are starting when you press Start applying. The extension panel names every addition as it goes, and you can stop a run at any time. If you would rather check each resume first, build them from your dashboard and apply yourself.
Payments, cancellation and refunds
Raize is sold per profile: one payment covers one job profile for 30 days. Payment is taken by our payment provider — your card or UPI details go to them, never to us. We store only which profiles are paid for and until when.
A profile, once paid for and created, runs for its 30 days and the fee is not refundable, because the work it pays for — building tailored resumes — begins immediately. You are never charged again automatically: a profile simply expires unless you choose to extend it.
If a payment fails but money leaves your account, write to support@raizeapp.com. We will check it and return the amount to the same payment method, normally within 5–7 working days.
Where your data is processed
Raize is run from India, and your account data and resume files are stored in a database and file store in Mumbai, India. Two parts of the service run outside India: the Raize server is hosted in Singapore, and the AI that writes your tailored resume (Groq) processes the text in the United States. Using Raize means your resume and the job postings you apply to are processed in those places. If you would rather that did not happen, please do not use the service.
Emails we send
We send only the emails the service needs: confirming your address, resetting your password, and receipts or notices about your profiles. We do not send marketing email, and we do not pass your address to anyone for marketing. If that ever changes, we will ask you first and every such email will carry an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
Your account data stays while your account exists. Delete your account and we delete your profile, your details, your saved answers, your application history and your resume files from storage. Applications already sent to employers are theirs — they are outside our reach, and you would need to contact the employer or the job site about those.
Your choices
You can view and edit your details at any time in the app, delete a saved answer, and ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be deleted. Email support@raizeapp.com and we will act on it.
Removing the extension from Chrome stops all of its activity immediately; your Raize account is unaffected until you ask us to delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Resume files live in a private storage bucket that is readable only by your own account, and every table enforces row-level security so one account cannot read another's rows. No system is perfect: if something ever goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
Raize is for people looking for work and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything significant will be told to you in the app rather than quietly edited in.
